Sitting Very Still (SVS)
Sitting Very Still (SVS) is the base principle of keeping as still as comfortably possible in meditation: relaxed, not tense. Paired with HRV resonant breathing, which makes it easy, it deepens the parasympathetic system and brings on the freeze response, on which the Four Proofs and deeper stages rest. An itch may be scratched, then stillness resumed.
