Parasympathetic nervous system
The parasympathetic nervous system is the body's system of relaxation and the first key to meditation: calming the body quiets the mind from behind. The parasympathetic nervous system splits into the ventral vagal complex in front, for safe engagement, and the dorsal vagal complex in back, which brings the freeze response. HRV resonance awakens it; the Four Proofs confirm it.
