I teach Kriya Yoga meditation based on Lahiri Mahasaya’s original teachings.

Kriya Yoga I teach is a very dynamic practice. So what you start with is the basic Kriya meditation set. As you practice it, (then) it unfolds itself . The unfolding depends upon the students’ efforts and past life practices in the Kriya and other yoga related practices. The dynamic unfoldment that students experience, like different states of deep breathing, different states of breathing from cranial area, and other experiences happen as you advance in the Kriya practice and during the advanced states of self cleansing .

You do not have to ask who am I as some Gurus are teaching, that answer comes during the Kumbhak, a state in which all the body cells are surrendered to God.

All the Advaitya (non dual experience, witness of God (Self)), questions of who am I really gets answered by practicing Kriya when your Kumbhak is long, peaceful, and blissful. You do not need any other type of Guru or philosopher to make you realize that. In the Kumbhak God reveals herself/himself, and becomes your Guru. You do not need any other person to show you that. This realization is well described in the Shrutis called the Vedas so it is verified by the Rishis in the beginning of time. In Kriya practice you begin to hear them as you are totally surrendered in Kumbhak and have no preconceived ideas, notions, but total attention to God. So you do not need anyone to ask who I am, your Kumbhak is answering that for you.

Also, when you work as hard as you do and at a level of demands as you do, (then) it is not sufficient to depend on recharging your being based on nightly sleep, or resting after you are totally exhausted, or taking a rare vacation. You have to “work hard and rejuvenate/recharge” all at the same time in a real time feedback loop accomplishing the rejuvenation. At your level of work demands this Kriya Yoga process becomes a very vital need for health and wellbeing. Nothing compares to this high powered maintenance of your being to do all that you do at work.

Let us look at our lives from the beginning:

At birth we are tiny eggs confined in our mother’s womb. Unbeknownst to us and our doctors we grow from an egg to become a fetus, we develop brain and spinal cord, our protective skeletons and skin, we survive a confined womb space for nine months, and finally we are born. While growing up our beings become a battle field for germs, bacteria, viruses attacking our anti-bodies our protective systems. All unbeknownst to our and our doctor’s knowhow we survived from the beginning of our planet/universe. Also let us look at the migration patterns of the birds which are ancient and more sophisticated than any guidance and control system we make at our Boeing Company. Same is true for the migration patterns of turtles, whales, and other animals.

Kriya Yoga says that this is possible because we/universe owe our existence as waves on an omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent ocean of energy continuum which sustains the material, animal, thoughtful-emotional-humans (also animals). As humans we get “attached” to our “finite wave forms” and forget/disconnect from the knowledge of the presence of this Ocean (Sat-Chit-Ananda or Matter-Consciousness-Bliss). Yet the Ocean is always there in life and beyond sustaining us. Whatever you see (by the senses) is That and whatever you do not see is That. Kriya Yoga reconnects (makes us aware, as we forget or get lost in our sense play) us with that Energy (Sat-Chit-Ananda) while working. So you are recharging while you are working (without compromising the work). In your very busy and hard work you need this practice, this vacation while working knowledge. Thank you for all you do. May you do it for eternity in good health.

Kriya Yoga reconnects (makes us aware, as we forget or get lost in our sense play) us with that Energy (Sat-Chit-Ananda) while working. So you are recharging and rejuvenating just as you did in your mother’s womb or when you live a healthy life. Every creature on the Earth or elsewhere is surviving because of that energy (Sat-Chit-Ananda) so reconnect to it blissfully and rejuvenate.
